This is pretty cool, reminds me of the TV ad when you watch a nice family scene and a bug looks like it crawls across the screen. It turns out to be an ad for a pest control company. Can you imagine if you lived in that building?

I wasn’t overly surprised to see Converse sponsoring an artist. I was, however, surprised to see them sponsor a tattoo wizard from Oaxaca Mexico. Dr. Latka’s first major US exhibition will be at the ICA in Boston which Converse is sponsoring as well. They’ve started with a pretty edgy video about his inspiration in which he says “this is where people come to cry, and bleed.”

I used to watch Cribs. Remember that show? Everyone kind of liked it because you’d follow people like Mariah Carey around her house and she’d show us things like a diamond encrusted toilet or whatever she had in her house that we didn’t. It was a great because a lot of people like to peek into other people’s lives. Just think of all the people that go to open houses with no intention of buying a house. Just look at how much time I spend on Craigslist for no reason.

Rhett and Link are a comedic team from North Carolina (one of my Craiglist stalking cities) and they make all kinds of videos. I hadn’t seen them until this T-Shirt War video and I think it’s a pretty funny idea. This is such an interesting video well worth the watch for anyone who is vowing to eat healthier in 2010. I started watching this thinking “who would want to live to be 100 anyway if you’re sick or frail?” but after watching how healthy these centenarians are I started paying closer attention.

So that’s why I love this video. Bonus: it’s in French, a language that I wish I could speak but simply can’t until someone gets me Rosetta Stone. Someone else will inevitably have to get it for me because every time I start getting together the $200, I find some shirt that I can’t live without or it’s my turn to pay the bar tab or something.
