I just had to post this.  It looks like the coolest conference ever.  And it’s in a tent, so that’s pretty fabulous too.

I don’t often sit for a whole 6 minute video these days but I enjoyed every second of this one.  It features Michael Wolff, co-founder of Wolff Olins Agency and he is arguably one of the most accomplished thinkers about brand (one of my all time favorite topics).

I’m not a huge football fan, but I AM a huge advertising fan.  So, when I went to watch the game I brought along some magazines to read at the same time.  I believe my sister said something to the effect of “oh, Caitlin brought her coloring books to play with at the kid’s table during the game”.  Nice.
So while I may have been the only dork at the party watching the ads so closely, the moment I hopped on Twitter I found hundreds of other nerds like me watching …

This is really insightful stuff from Jason Fried at TEDxMidwest. I wish I would have had my thoughts this organized when I started not wanting to work at an office.    (hat tip to @swissmiss for posting it first).

I haven’t pointed out any social media projects that stand out lately but this one from Tiger Beer has definite style points.  First, they made an artsy video about rewarding curiosity while they spray paint a guy that blends in with the wall.  Then they connected it with their Facebook that focuses on ‘knowing the not known’ and while the philosophic verbage on it is slightly confusing it is a great new way to offer ‘special deals’ to their fans without using the tired language of ‘special deals and offers’.

In the theme of office and workspace this week, I found this perfect video from @freshcreation about desk design and personality. I love that although most people work on phones and laptops that people still want a space to work – I know I do.
