These broom floor lights are absolutely the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while.  They are done by YL and from the site I think you can order them from him (finger crossies that they are not horribly expensive……).  I’m pretty sure my family thinks some of the things I buy for the house are really odd – can you imagine explaining “hey mom, just ordered some new lamps from the Netherlands today.  They’re really beautiful, you just lean them up against the wall and they look like a broom….. …

This one is at Etsy…. and I clearly have some kind of inner need to sleep in trees.  I just can’t imagine having any sort of stressful day while computering in this bed.  Is it sad that imagine myself working on my computer here before I envision myself sleeping here?
As a bonus I’m adding these stone pillows by French company Smarin since they are just that amazing. 

My landlord would hate me if I used these on the walls but I love this look so much that I’m considering digging out my lease to remember just how much I put down in security deposit.
I almost never get it back anyway – this year already we’ve accidentally torn the refrigerator handle off and our porch screen door is off (I think someone walked through it?)  Anyway, I just can’t look at those blank white walls for too long before I one Saturday I’m having a glass of wine …
