We sold things that people didn't need... but which were certainly pretty. I started a kaleidoscope collection while working there, and also developed a thing for art jewelry. And I coveted the Bill Campbell pottery. Bill Campbell is a potter from PA, and I loved the milky white swirls in the deep blue of his glaze. Being a college student, I couldn't afford much more than one of his mugs. I have multiple cabinets filled with mugs, but I'll still use this one day after day after day after...
