Things For Friday Funrise!

2 July 2010 2 Comments

This week was absolutely crammed full! I’m so glad the weekend is finally here although it’s shaping up to be really busy as well since the New Jerseyite’s parents are in town. Last night we had an amazing bottle of wine with dinner (Poggio Alla Guardia), it would be great for almost any occasion. Today we’re headed to Mineral Point to check out all the art galleries and they have an outdoor theater I’m hoping to catch a show at later.

Congratulations Charlotte, NC – Combos has named you the Manliest City!

Good article from Noah about having a no fun job.  “I’m not talking about singing and dancing in the workplace type of fun.”

Kids are learning at a really young age to take their own picture….  an interesting article about  how the internets are turning us into hams.

I love the silhouette!  Here are 50 really great ones to inspire you. – this one is by Laia Roca.

Alice in Wonderland Cutlery!

This week when Fox_girl313 tweeted “aaaahhhh!  Out of Wheat Thins… my life is officially over!” Wheat Thins sent her a pallet of them…… wonder if that would work for any other brands.

21 Things You Should Never Buy New.

This video is made by Pull Start Pictures and is sponsored by by Maine Farmland Trust. I think it’s exactly the type of video that a brand can do and really not be seen as a commercial but as a legitimately cool and helpful piece of work. Could the auto industry do anything with this format? I’m tired of their commercials.

Here’s a song by Kele to get your weekend going:

Sweet song, strong work C-Mac. Also I really enjoyed Noah’s blog, the Chase Farm ad, and the palette of What Thins.

    Happy Friday!
