Things For Friday Funrise!
This short week had me feeling the most creative I’ve felt in a long time so I’ve been looking at a lot more art blogs and I’m just itching to see some artsy summer films to tell you about. Happy Funrise!
Notes From Chris – a mysterious guy named “Chris” is posting these hilarious notes all over NYC.
The 8th Twitter employee just left because he “didn’t want to work for an ad company” – yikes, we don’t want to tweet to one either!
I played kickball for the first time last night and I heard all they had was beer so I brought Margarita In A Box to class up the joint. It wasn’t the best margarita in the world but it was a great alternative if you’re not a big beer drinker. It also looks like a few other traditional drinks might be coming out in a box this summer too – looks like I need a bigger purse, ha!
If you’re a frequent traveler, check out Suite Travel. You just go on the site, pick out the personal care items you need and they deliver them to your destination hotel for you. Is airport baggage getting that bad that we have companies starting that count on them losing our luggage?
I love all the quotes in the 99% Conference Video – anyone going to this?

Want to try a new recipe this weekend? The New Jerseyite and I made these tacos (based loosely on the Koji BBQ truck food in LA) and they were maybe the best thing we’ve ever made (watch out they are spicy!) While we’re talking kitchen, here’s a guitar shaped spatula.
Ratatat just dropped a brand new album!
Want some ideas for some fun outdoor art? I must have this Guerrilla Art Kit – to the New Jerseyite’s dismay I buy even more books in summer.
This is such a cool idea, Ephraim Benton (NYC) is starting his own “chillin on da’ corner” summer movie series where he’s showing movies in places that people naturally congregate – last week he had more than 100 people show up to a playground to watch “Inside A Change”.
Terrain is an architecture group that makes really great outdoor spaces…. like this pool!
This Alexander McQueen ring is lovely – and not uber expensive!

I love love love that pool!
Here’s the problem with that pool… the little stone circles in the grass? That is gonna be stubbed toe central for the kids. I am wincing and grabbing my foot just anticipating it.
Also those Chris posters look exactly like something my weirdo artist buddy Chris would do… except he lives in SoCal
