Go See It: Exit Through The Gift Shop.

23 June 2010 5 Comments

So I was complaining a few days ago about how I was feeling uninspired and wanted to see something cool and so I stole a few hours from my workday and saw “Exit Through The Giftshop“.  If you have ANY INTEREST IN STREET ART you should go see it.  It will make you want to make things that people will love.  It will make you want to throw a party.  It will make you laugh at copycat artists.  I thought it would be just about Bansky, (remember the guy who walked into the MOMA and put up his own art?  That’s him) but it wasn’t just a love letter to Banksy, it had a really decent story.  See if it’s in your city.

MADISON – There’s only 3 showings left at Sundance here so go tonight or tomorrow!

I saw a review for this and I am really anxious to see it. I don’t know if it’s still in Chicago anymore but it’s DEFINITELY on my Netflix list!

I’ve been wanting to see this!!!! It was playing in L.A., right before I left (for Denver), but I opted to watch “Babies” instead. Hopefully, it’s playing in my new city. If not, like Jessica said, thank god for Netflix!

I’m actually really impressed with how fast things come to Netflix these days. It seems like about a year ago it took movies really long to go to Netflix but now it’s only a month or so.

This sounds very much like a C-Mac thing. I am interested in seeing it but I may wait to Netflix it like Andrea.

Ok. So, I caved… I went to the theater and saw it and LOVED IT! Thanks for the recommendation Caitlin! :)
