If You’re The Type To Order Coffee From Brooklyn. Get Gorilla.

30 April 2010 4 Comments

I met  Marcos at SXSW because he had an amazing coffee mug-carry-thing which I noticed because I have a coffee radar that makes me see or smell coffee in any increment.  Sometimes it’s normal like at a coffee shop and sometimes it causes me to yell things like “nice mug!” in a group of strangers that are talking about Facebook.

So Marcos tells me that it’s a Gorilla Coffee mug-thing and that it’s the best coffee ever.  He then proceeds to tell me this urban legend about a guy who was a real coffee lover and drank Starbucks every day and then tried this and now orders Gorilla online.  Won’t even touch Starbucks.  I’m sure I was all wide eyed and nodding and knowing that immediately after Marcos walked away I was gonna get some of this coffee legend.

So today it came and guess what?  Amazing!  Worth ordering from Brooklyn.  They even send you an awesome sticker and a huge coffee burlap bag that I am going to make something out of.  It was seriously like Christmas at my house in the form of coffee.

Only you would do this – and that makes me chuckle.

Break down for me exactly how it’s amazing. Cause I already won’t touch Starbucks and I’m constantly looking for good coffee.

(I am the person who received as a birthday gift recently a $50 bag of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee because it’s supposedly the best)
